What would MeetDistrict be without our Members? Of course, we could save a lot on cleaning costs and energy consumption—but without the bustling activity of all those people coming together in our various workspaces and meeting rooms, we’d be nothing more than a pretty picture.
That said, providing a shared work environment for so many people requires a set of clear guidelines. Only in this way can we remain a pleasant workplace that everyone can enjoy. We are therefore pleased to present our MeetDistrict Code of Conduct —a summary of standards and values that serves as the perfect framework for truly supporting one another as a single community. Discover how you, too, can contribute to making MeetDistrict the best it can be.
Respect is not a trend
The true key to creating a workplace where people are happy to return time and time again is respect. Everyone deserves to feel just as valued as the person standing next to them, and to achieve this, you often don’t even have to look any further than a simple “hello” or offering a helping hand. We’re a large group, so if everyone looks out for one another and respects each other’s boundaries, we can be sure that everyone feels seen, safe, and understood. That way, you’ll also feel heard without having to make a big fuss.

Help us create the ideal workplace
Our ultimate goal is to be the best possible provider of a flexible work environment for our customers, so we’ve carefully shaped and designed every corner of our various locations for a specific purpose. So please use our MeetBoxes only for meetings and take your lunch to the MarktPlaats. After all, no one likes having to wipe breadcrumbs off the same table where they hope to close a major business deal just a short while later. Similarly, all furniture and equipment has its own designated place and function, so please make sure you don’t move your chair from one room to another.
We strive to be a workplace that makes an impression, so please don’t treat us like your living room at home. For example, putting your feet up on the tables or lying down on the sofas doesn’t fit with the professional environment we want to provide. On top of that, MeetDistrict is, of course, incredibly proud of the numerous sustainability efforts that are bringing us closer, little by little, to our goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2030. Your contribution is, of course, crucial to this! How? Simply by disposing of your trash in the correct bin.
If something looks strange, it probably doesn't belong
Just imagine it: a bustling, energetic workplace where large numbers of people are focused on their work and rushing from meeting to meeting, and where various companies come together for training sessions and all kinds of events. Does that seem like a suitable environment for a dog—or any kind of animal, for that matter? Don’t get us wrong; we’ve never seen a pet cuter than yours! But it’s still better to leave them at home, because we want to avoid uncomfortable situations for both your pet and your fellow Members. Now imagine a fridge filled with food, snacks, and drinks. Of course, we’re a shared workspace, but you can’t just help yourself to whatever people keep in the fridge to keep it cool. Sharing—that’s what we do. But stealing? Never!
Did you see something that seemed strange, or just… weird? Don’t hesitate to let Team MeetDistrict know. Just come to the FrontDesk—we’re happy to help and are always here for you.

Conclusion
Together, we’re a large group, so everyone plays a role in creating a workplace where everyone can feel comfortable, safe, and happy. There’s no question that MeetDistrict places immense value on its community, so creating a Code of Conduct is our commitment to consistently uphold respect wherever it’s needed. And that applies both to our members and to the shared space we’ve designed especially for them. Because ultimately, it always comes down to this: our MeetDistrict members play a crucial role.
